London 2012
In 2012 London hosted the Olympic and Paralympic games.
Paralympics
Zeus was proud to support Paralympics GB in the run upto and during the games in 2012.
We provided staff development interventions for the core support staff in preperation for the games to ensure that the team who supports the team were best perpared.
During the games and in the preceeding preperation camps we provided a staff well-being facility to ensure that the coaches and support staff were supported during the holding camp and at the games. This included providing a 'drop in service' providing advice on sleep issues, group dynamics issues, performance challenges and general well-being concerns.
Olympics
We also supported an Olympic team in the preceding year to London 2012 and during qualification for the 2012 Olympics. We workrd closely with and supported the head coach to pull the squad together, as well providing development support for the head coach in their new role. We also provided support and advice to the sport scientists travelling with the squad. The key challenge in this intervention was that much of the work had to be done remotely due to the sport's travel commitments.
